"She walks as the warm sun shines down on her, the clouds above nothing but thin layers of moisture in the sky."
The weather was really nice today, at least by everyone else's standards. 'Tis a shame that I had to walk in it.
It says it's -6 degrees. That's just awesome. I'm hoping my eyes are a) playing tricks on me, or b) my weather add-on for my browser is a liar. -6 degrees... dammit. I don't want to go to school now.
Right now I'm kind of just lazing about in my house because my class isn't until 3:00 P.M., and it's only 10 A.M. so I figure I've got time to procrastinate. I just looked in our assignements though... apparently we already have an essay due (wtf? I thought this was a new media class, not English) and an assignment... something about manipulating an Illustrator image.
My piano class last night was fun though. We just learned all the key names and stuff. I still need to get my book. My teacher said we're going to need it for next week, and there's actually worksheets in the book that we have to photocopy ourselves and turn in as assignments, which kind of sucks. I don't even know if the copy function on my printer works haha.
I guess I'll just go to the library again after school. They've seen me like... 3 times already lol. It turns out I'll need to buy that stupid XHTML+CSS book after all, since we're going to be doing readings. But that's fine. The one I have doesn't really cover XHTML, only HTML... so... whatever. Not like it's really that big of a difference (It's not really... only a few minor changes and making sure everything is organized, which your coding should be organized anyway).
I'm tired. I told my mom I would do the dishes, but I really don't want to now. Ugh. I hope the snow is cleared off all the roads though. Since it's -6 degrees I don't think it'll melt (it won't), so hopefully the roads are nice and clear so I don't have to take turns at 3mph haha. It's not fun. I was even late for my Japanese class by 45 minutes, but so was my Japanese teacher so I didn't get in trouble or anything. We had a quiz that day, too, and we had to write 5 sentences either about our families or our daily routine. I chose daily routine since I totally forgot what the word for "parent" was. I know "mom" is okaasan and "dad" is otousan, but I don't know the word for "parent." But that's not really the reason why I chose it. Talking about my daily routine is tons easier than trying to make up some shit about my family lol.
WHY THE HELL IS IT SO HOT OUTSIDE??!!! WTF, WEATHER. GO BACK TO THE 70's LIKE YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO!!!!!
So yesterday, against my better judgment, I agreed to have brunch at 94th Squadron (I think that's what it was called, might have gotten the number wrong). Anyway, it's not like the food was bad, IT WAS SO GOOD, but it was fucking hot outside and it was still only 11am. It usually gets hotter around mid-afternoon, I'd say, but I'm not sure since I don't really pay attention ^^;;
Well, brunch was good. And I met my step-mom's step-daughter and grandchild (or at least it was her step-daughter), December and Angela. Angela wouldn't stop clinging to my arm, mind you she's like 8 years old so she's obviously not some 3-year-old running around acting like a crackhead. But MY GOD it was so hot outside and she was clinging on all the time. She kept wanting to hold my hand so I would let her and our hands would get all sweaty from the heat X__X;; I was dying. But she's such a cute kid! Really :) If I had a little sister, I wish it would've been her.
Although, both of my brothers were there and they treated her like a princess >_> even when she stole Eric's sunglasses (he's the middle child of our family so he's known to be bitchy all the time at times) he didn't even get mad at her. HE GOT MAD AT PETER, my other older brother (who happens to be the oldest). It was funny :D but then it kind of made me feel weird, I guess, because if I did that shit, even today, Eric would've threatened to throw me out a window. Either that or he would give me this pissed off look, haha.
Oh well :) Peter told me that I was the coolest little sister he could have anyway since I was so quiet when I was younger and smiled at everything and was "cute" as he put it. Unfortunately, being almost 20 now, I'm not that cute nor do I smile often, but I'm still quiet XD
And I watched Iron Man finally!!! IT WAS SO GOOD! I had no one to watch it with while I was in Indiana so I didn't go to the movies when everyone was hyping about it. I'd spazz more on the movie, but it's ridiculously hot in my room right now and I'm having such a hard time typing because I'm starting to sweat. Seriously, sweating just from typing is the stupidest thing to sweat from.
A bit contradicting, eh? Well, imagine how I feel.
UGH. Why do these times in my life always come up? I hate feeling like this. It's one of those feelings where you know you need to do something but you just can't do it so you try and put it off for as long as you can. Yes, one of those "obligatory" situations that you can't get out of 'less you feel like facing the wrath of your entire family >__>;; stupid family. I seriously should run away one of these days haha. But first I need to save up money and get a job... and uh... finish school I suppose xP
But um, Christmas is coming up! Yes, yes. It actually snowed by my place for a couple days (not horribly, but enough to the point where you would have to shovel) and then it rained yesterday and most of today so now the snow is all gone LOL. But I would much rather have it snow-less since it's difficult for me to shovel, what with my upper body strength similar to that of a 7-year-old girl *laughs*
And no, I am not exaggerating. I really do have the strength of a 7-year-old.
Man, I don't feel like typing anymore haha. So, I guess I'll end it here. Maybe I'll just update this thing once a month or something ^^;;
ぜんぜん分からない T___T;; I seriously don't understand anything at all..
I have a math final tomorrow, and I have about 4 chapters to completely master before tomorrow afternoon >__> so much for being prepared, huh? Although, I have found it surprisingly easier to understand (so far) since I'm teaching myself right out of the book :) Oh! and I took some pictures of the first snowfall here in Indy! It's actually my first time seeing snow up close, because the only snow I've seen was on those long drives to Julian during Winter, and I saw the snow from miles away (on the mountain tops haha).
Snow is so pretty ^___^ I love it. I hate frost, though.. I absolutely effing hate it. Because in the morning it takes so long to melt it off my windows, and even after 10 minutes it isn't completely gone x__x" and when you try opening your car door it gets stuck LMAO. Yes, that happened to me..
Oh, but changing the topic back to school, I think there's only 1 final that I don't need to study for: Japanese. Go figure. Of course it would be the one subject that completely doesn't help me with my major =_=;; I might as well just go to Japan hahahaha.. I wish T__T.. damn you rich people!!
I think the other day my brother asked me how do you say "I love you" in Japanese.. and I told him something like 君のことが大好きだ。And it took him a while to figure out how to pronounce it lol. He told me that one of his friends used to (or is, I forgot) an English teacher in Japan.. at first I thought that would be an interesting career, but then I thought about how horrible I am at English. I mean, it's my first effing language and half of my vocabulary is composed of profanity haha.
But at least I can spell correctly. I was watching the news, in a lame attempt to distract myself from studying, and Lindsay Lohan was on the news. Apparently there have been several instances in which she spelled the word "adequate" wrong. I think she spelled it like "adequite". I mean, your first language is English. How can you fuck that up?
Although I must admit myself, if it wasn't for the dictionary and spell-check there are some words I would be spelling wrong even to this day. Oh, and also thanks to all those people who like correcting others on spelling... I only did it to my friends because back when we were in high school (haha.. I mean last year) they designated me as their grammar and spell-checker for all their essays and speeches. omfg.. I hated it lol.
Well, wish me good luck on my math final! I need to get back to studying now x__x;
So, for the first time in my entire life as a complete anti-cleaning bum, I cleaned the toilet. And oh boy.. how nasty it was x__x; I mean, my cousin and I share a bathroom and we're both girls so it wasn't that bad. The whole time I was cleaning the toilet I thought of my mom because she used to have to clean my brothers' toilet all the time when we were younger. And that, my friend, must have been painful.
But yeah, after smelling all those Clorox-y chemicals I am just about ready to pass out. I kept the door open and put the vent on in the bathroom while I was cleaning, but somehow I still got a headache.
Where has my life of laziness gone?
Today I attempted to figure out Wordpress but I obviously failed. And now after cleaning I just don't feel like doing crap, although I do have to make that Takashi Tsukamoto fanlisting today.. I made the layout (very very simple, nothing compared to the hour or so I spent on vectoring an image for my Epik High fanlisting). Now all I have to do is code the layout, change a couple sentences here and there, and then submit it to TFL.org. Yes, I am very much aware that my Saturdays now consist of coding websites instead of going out and having fun with my friends, but since I have a lack of the latter ever since I moved to good ol' Hoosier-ville, I stay home and code websites.
The weather here in Indiana is kind of shitty ...*shrugs* According to the news channel, the temperatures are 20° below of what is supposed to be the norm right now, so that basically means snow, ice, and freezing your ass off. Thank goodness for those gerbil tunnels! Hahaha, gerbil tunnels ^__^ I'll take a picture of them when I get the chance while I'm at school.
