Kind of.
DON'T ASK ME WHY I NAMED IT THAT. I couldn't think of anything and then I just put it on the layout and was too lazy to think of something better.
I have a feeling I'm going to have to add more shit to it so that it looks presentable for my design class. It looks too empty :( I should have just made it a wordpress layout and been like "It's minimalistic style bitches, I'M DONE." Ah well. For my web development class, however, it's more than enough since everything is really only focused on how well the site is coded, if it validates or not, and how many of those stupid <!-- HTML comment --> and /* CSS comment */ tags we use.
UGH. I can't believe I finished it a day early.
And I have a final tomorrow in piano but I have no clue what the hell is on it. She didn't give us a study guide or anything D: I'm doomed.
I also realized that listening to classical music makes me less hungry than when I listen to other types of music... which is odd.
O OH OHOH OHOH!!! ANDNNNDNDDDD....
SPAM UPDATE: 2,908!
Just 92 more to go before I pass the 3k mark.
That's the, uh, vector I had to do for my Illustrator class. Colors are based on the army, if you can't tell. It took me 8 hours or something equally stupid. I just remember working on it and not stopping except to eat, and even then I still stayed up doing it until 6 A.M. or something. I should really stop procrastinating on projects/assignments until the night before :(
My teacher liked my midterm though. We had to do in-class critiques today. I was a nervous mess, but people liked the pseudo-company for t-shirts that I designed (I think it's a few entries back, before I started raving about Epik High lol).
Anyway, now that that's over and done with, um... I have to start thinking about what I'm going to do for my final. And I need to design the site for my final in my web development class (though, honestly, I could wait until the week before it's due on the 28th to finish it). Next week I have an oral exam in Japanese, which I haven't studied for but I don't think I really need to study for it. I'm doing pretty good in my classes this semester :D I just can't fail the tests and I'm pretty much golden.
And, holy shit, I'm hooked on watching Torchwood. Once I got past how stupid they can be in relationships I started to really like the show because it's so human. I know that sounds weird (er, considering I am human myself), but compared to Doctor Who it deals with their relationships and them as people - people who make mistakes and have to deal with their sacrifices - rather than the Doctor who wants to save every living thing like some kind of angel (still love David Tennant though XD no seriously, it's horrible how much I love him). I'm pretty much done with the second season of Torchwood, after going through a fucking marathon of watching Doctor Who. Awesomest marathon IMO. It was really bad for a while because I wouldn't even care about anything else except watching Who all the time.
I guess, for now, I can just concentrate on the last month of school that's left. Hopefully it doesn't go by too fast because I have projects and shit due. I don't even know when half of it is due and there's like a reflection paper and 2 concert reports I have to do for my piano class -__- guh. Totally forgot about those.
And then Fall semester I'll be taking all those shitty general ed. classes that I've avoided until now. Well, the ones that I failed and have to retake anyway.
That is with 3 hours of sleep and about... 16 hours of work for everything? There's other pages, just so you know. I think it took 5 hours to code, 8-9 hours of making the graphics, and then 1-2 hours of me just procrastinating, as usual. Yeah, that sounds about right. I haven't even had coffee yet so I'm not quite sure where all my energy is coming from. And I think we have to present our projects. AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY LOL. I could speak the truth, but if I let my teacher know I waited until the day before to work on a midterm we had over a month to complete, er... I don't think he'd like to hear that.
And yes! That is Mithra and Tukutz :D The album comes out tomorrow!!!! WOO~ So do the t-shirts, but I'm kind of poor :( I'm still debating on whether getting up at 8am will be worth it.
Although I don't like cats very much, so maybe I'll just become an old lady with a bunch of... uh... On second thought, maybe I shouldn't have pets (all of them die way before their time due to my inability to care for any living thing). Maybe I'll just be the old lady who spends too much time on her computer, thus resulting in her being too blind to see 3 inches in front of her face because she's been staring at a screen for way too long.
Hm. That sounds like my life now... lol. Minus the near-blindness, of course, though I do wear glasses so it's only a matter of time...
Well, my teacher wasn't as bad as I thought he was going to be when I proposed my project yesterday (granted, I actually only came up with the idea that very morning because I didn't use the last few weeks or so of planning to my advantage. I procrastinate like that. Don't hate). I DIDN'T EVEN NEED TO STAY AND TALK TO HIM BUT I THOUGHT I DID. I'm still a bit angry at that, but I think he was taking certain people's papers to look over them some more.
Anyway, I decided I'm making a T-shirt company thing. Maybe I'll even design some T-shirts? It's pretty vague, and when I told him about it I tried to sound as vague as I could be so I'd have some leeway on the actual project without commitments. I think it worked out. I'm pretty good at being vague and just presenting the least amount of information that makes it seem like I know where I'm going even though I haven't a clue. Project's due on the 26th, so I'll be working on it from now until then. Or like a week from now until then XD
And I have to work on a final project for my web development class soon. I was originally just going to use the same idea for both my classes (my teachers allow it), but the requirements for my web development class actually calls for research and actual content, so that threw the whole "kill two birds with one stone" plan out a glass window and let it land on the street whereafter it got run over by a semitruck and then its insides were scavenged by hungry crows. Besides, I don't want to sit around and research T-shirt companies and shit when I could just make a website with basic Japanese greetings and stuff.
Yes, that is my project :) I tried to pick a topic that was insanely easy so I could spend more time designing than having to bullshit content. Plus it's something that I'm relatively familiar with, so it shouldn't be hard to come up with content. I was originally planning on making a Baccano! fansite, but that would take too much time doing research on characters/relationships and figuring out the timeline. Heh. I'm lazy.
I'm really hoping that some pirate out there will upload Super Junior's new album soon. I'm getting anxious about it and I don't usually get anxious about anyone's albums (besides Weezer), so it's pretty frustrating. And Thu and I agreed that everyone needs to cut their hair, minus Leeteuk and Yesung, and that SM should stop treating his groups like shit and giving them up to stupid hair stylists whose soul purpose in life seems to be making them look like hobos.
...Unless, of course, your procrastination overlaps with another class you're already procrastinating in and will fail the entire semester if you bomb the final. Damn you, Sociology. Damn you! Nevermind.
Seriously.
Anyway, if you can't tell, since I'm sure it's super difficult, this a group final project that we had to do for a fake energy drink company, Despain Beverage Co. We got to pick out our drink name, Jacked, which I didn't come up with, as well as whatever other stuff we wanted to design. We had to make 3 posters (none of which I did), 3 magazine ads (none of which I did either, lol), and one "team choice" project which consisted of a commercial, website, or some other stuff. I forgot. We ended up going with a website and commercial... the website I didn't even need to fucking code. Yes, I am still mad about that.
Well, at least the site looks alright. And it validates as XHTML and CSS, which is always nice :)
My Sociology teacher is AWESOME because he's still letting me make up the test I missed :D And it'll be after my presentation tomorrow so BOOYEAH.
Oh, and my final isn't until 3:30pm today. I have more time to study now ^^ ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
I made this right before it was supposed to be due (and by "right before", I mean like... I started it an hour before it was due even though I had 2 weeks to complete it haha)
In case you're wondering, the lines (the ones leading out of the faceless person's head and the darker gray ones in the bg) are actually the streets that lead to the Technology and Informatics building at my school, which is what the project was for. I traced it from the map of my school that's online :D But goddamn! I can't believe that crap took me an hour =_=;; And sorry if the excessive watermarking distracts you lol.
Anyway, I haven't really been making anything in photoshop lately, so this was kind of fun. Plus I got to use the trusty pen tool! And I haven't used the pen tool to make something seriously since... well... whenever I created my last vector/vexel haha. 4-5 years ago? -__-;;
But I kind of submitted the project late because the site I had to submit it to didn't allow me to connect until 20 or so minutes after the due time, so I may not even get credit for it LOL <-- I'm not really laughing, I'm just doing that because if I don't I'll probably get really pissed off and want to hurt some cute, forest animal.
Well... I'm hungry. I'm going to go eat.
Edit: And I got a 26/32 on my Sociology test, which is a B (I think). But it's really out of 30 since Prof. Aponte said that we weren't held accountable for 2 questions on the test, so technically I got 26/30....... which is still a B. One more question right and I would have gotten an A!!! ughh >__>;;
