So, I was listening to Super Junior's Kiss The Radio (and if you listen to the radio you would have seen this, too). A window always pops up with the latest KBS news when you open the player and LOOK WHAT POPPED UP TODAY...
I used to not like Hyunjoong at all, but after seeing him in We Got Married with Hwangbo I kind of started to like him. He's awkwardly funny, but in a good way I guess. (And I don't even care if the whole show is scripted, leave me alone.) That episode with the other SS501 members when Hwangbo visited them in Japan was hilarious.
Anyway, what do you think of the cast? I don't know who the hell the two guys at the end are since I don't pay enough attention to movies/dramas, but Kim Bum is kind of cute. Too bad he's younger than me HAHAHA. Only by a year though, but still younger than me T_T
Well, I don't know if I'm going to watch this drama, I guess it depends on who is casted for Makino Tsukushi's role :) then we'll see if it's worth it.
Well, because my cousin told me it's been airing, I started watching Gokusen 3 since I haven't been into the Jdrama circle for a while. Plus I watched the previous 2 seasons so I thought I should give the 3rd a try since I liked them.
Anyway, there's some eye-candy, but not a lot. There's that Ryuuya kid that was in Nobuta wo Produce, the one with the cute, chubby face XD and some new faces that have been around but I haven't seen yet since, like I said, I've been out of the circle.
But this kid...
Oh, and I totally found Ryeowook's Japanese counterpart in the show, too~~
...Or at least I think he looks like him. Must be the lips and the face shape. But this guy looks more mature than Wookie, even though in reality he's probably younger or something XDD. And I don't even know what this guy's name is so don't ask, haha.
Now, putting aside all the boys in the show, I can't help but feel they've been repeating the same scenarios but with different people each season. Although I didn't really notice it before because I had Matsumoto Jun, Oguri Shun, and Narimiya Hiroki in the first season to keep me occupied... and the second season had Kame and Jin LOL.
As I was saying, even though there is 1 (or maybe more) repeated scenario(s), the show is very Gokusen-esque in the sense that Yankumi is again trying to win over her students and eventually succeeds in doing so by helping them out one by one. The show's enjoyable, and I do love those Tetsu and Minoru bits because those two are hilarious XD so, in the end, I do recommend watching it just for the hell of it, haha.
They've subbed up till ep6 so far, so you can watch it on Veoh to catch up or something if you wanna try it out :D
I've been getting more addicted to たったひとつの恋 with every episode that I watch ^^ BUT WHYYYY? Why does someone in every effing Asian drama always have some fatal, if not life-threatening, disease?! ERGHHHH it makes me mad sometimes.
And some fansub team decided to do 鉄板少女あかね softsubs! Now I won't have to worry about someone uploading the drama to Megaupload or anything ^__^
Anyway, デスノート and D.Gray-Man have both come up with subbed episodes up to episode 3.. I was in San Diego this past weekend so I didn't download anything. Speaking of which, I really need to download last weekend's episode of Love Letter.. haha..
デスノート (Death Note) is out.. the anime version. And D.Gray-Man has also come out with an anime version >__> omfg.. I didn't even now they were going to come out with an anime for those. But now I'm happy haha ^^
I gotta say, that 夜神月 is effing crazy haha. I guess since there's an anime out for Death Note I don't have to finish reading the manga. I think I stopped reading it at Ch. 47 or something. I got fed up with the long dialogues (sorry Death Note fans, I'm lazy.) Anyway, I like the anime. The art is cool, very similar to the manga, I say.
D.Gray-Man, on the other hand, is kind of different from the manga. Not necessarily bad, but not better either *shrugs* But I liked watching the first episodes of both animes so I don't care haha.
And um.. I started watching 微笑 Pasta (Smiling Pasta). It's basically the Taiwanese version of the Korean drama, Full House, that starred Jung Ji Hoon (b.k.a. Rain or Bi). I never watched Full House ^^; ahh.. and I call myself a Rain fan.. tsk tsk. Actually, I started watching Full House.. I just never got around to finishing it.. and I have it around here somewhere *looks around her messy room* ...I think I'll look for it later..
For some reason I enjoy watching Taiwanese dramas a lot more than watching Japanese or Korean ones now. I wonder what changed.. And DAMMIT. I wish BitTorrent would fucking work on my computers!!! I can't connect because my internet won't let me *kills the internet connection* so that basically means I have to direct-download EVERYTHING.. except for Clubbox files. Clubbox is my savior..
So, the dramas that I'm watching currently are:
- アキハバラ@DEEP
- Love Contract 愛情合約
- Silence 深情密碼
- MARS 戰神
- Devil Beside You 惡魔在身邊
Oh, and why have I become addicted to Golf & Mike? LOL.. damn you Johnny! If you hadn't paired them up with Yamapi I would've never noticed them you bastard! Gosh.
So I guess my fangirl list has exceeded its maximum capacity already.
Ever since I started watching Taiwanese dramas I've been listening to Chinese music >__>; not that Chinese music is bad, I really like it hahaha ^__^ but what happened to my Korean phase?! Lol.. no.. I'm still obsessed with Super Junior, Big Bang, Rain, Se7en.. 1TYM, Moo Ga Dang (I love you Baek Kyoung! lol) and others..
I started watching Love Contract a couple days ago. I started to download it a hella long time ago, but I guess I wasn't really into TWdramas that much back then. But now I am! Hahaha.. but yeah, I like Ariel Lin as an actress. I think she's pretty. I liked her in It Started With A Kiss too, but her idiocy was so annoying after a while ^^;
Anyway, Love Contract (AKA Ai Qing He Yue) stars Ariel Lin and Mike He. I think it's a good drama.. I'm only on episode 12 right now (only 8 more to go..) I love it how they have so many episodes ^__^ unlike Japanese dramas which usually only last 10-12 episodes T__T it makes me sad because I always want the story to go on..
Speaking of sequels, It Started With A Kiss SEASON 2 is coming out sometime in 2007 XD !!!! Yes, I love Joe Cheng! Hmm.. I wonder if Jiro Wang is gonna be in it again..
Well, yeah, that's all I felt like saying.
[edit] I forgot to mention I switched themes because this layout reminded me of "The Brave Little Toaster" lol.. [/edit]
About Love is a so-so movie.. it's basically composed of three stories dealing with a language barrier between three couples (a couple for each story evidently lol). Yeah, Kase Ryo, Tsukamoto Takashi, and Ito Misaki (from Sapuri) are the Japanese stars in it.. I'm not too good with Chinese/Taiwanese stars so forgive me ^^;
My favorite story is Shanghai.. IT'S SOOOO SAAADDDD. I already had this movie.. I burned it off to a cd but I misplaced my cd somewhere.. and some completely awesome person uploaded it ^__^ xie xie~
OMFG. I really need to stop listening to Chinese music.. it's turning me Chinese-washed.. and I'm already Japanese and Korean-washed.. damn you Taiwanese dramas!! *shakes fist*
But seriously, Silence (Shen Qing Mi Ma) is such a good drama.. and Vic Zhou <3 ok, his hotness is sorta going down because he just keeps looking older and older to me the more I watch that show.. but I don't really have anyone else to fangirl over.. so.. haha VIC ZHOU!!
And I started with It Started With A Kiss again.. I think this time I'll actually watch the WHOLE THING instead of skipping.. because by the end of the 20 episodes I didn't understand crap about how they got together.. that's the problem with me: I tend to skip through parts because I'm impatient.
Yeah, well, whatever.
No, just kidding. But it's still pretty fucking awesome. And it goes by the name of:
アキハバラ@DEEP [Akihabara@DEEP]
Akihabara is a Tokyo district full of mangas, anime, electronics, video
games, figurines, etc. It’s a place that gathers fanatics of such
themes, people who are commonly referred to as ‘otakus’. Page, Box,
Akira, Taiko, Daruma, and Izumu are six otakus each with his/her own
troubles and sought relief through a website called ‘Yui’s Lifeguard.’
When site owner Yui died of a mysterious death, the six who are each
experts in their own fields gathered to form ‘Akihabara@DEEP’, a
‘trouble shooter’ group that vows to protect Akihabara and solve the
problems of its inhabitants. (synopsis courtesy of DramaWiki)
It's a bunch of random otaku love ^__^V I LOVE ページ君 (Page) and his bad communication skills (he stutters his words all the time ^^;) and ボクス君 (Box)!! I love him too.. oh, Ikuta Toma.. XD he's so funny. Gotta love them Johnny's Entertainment boys~!
Oh, and now my computer is acting all fucked up because I installed the Windows Update thing ">__> apparently it was the wrong fucking thing to do lol.
